Museum /Object: Artists Engaging with the Museum
Museum /Object is a curated exhibition of artists whose practice engages with
concept of the museum. Through installation, sculpture, text, moving image, archival
intervention, painting, photography, and performative practice, the exhibition considers
the museum as a space shaped by display, interpretation, memory, and power.
At its heart, the exhibition is about looking differently: at objects, at systems of display,
and at the cultural frameworks that shape what is preserved and what is valued. It
invites audiences to reflect on the museum as a place of both wonder and tension,
where beauty, knowledge, and power are closely entwined.
Museum /Object offers an opportunity to consider how contemporary artists are
reshaping the way, we understand museums not only just as keepers of history, but as
contested, living spaces open to critique, imagination, and change.

Autumn Group Show
Artist Statement
Artists, Astrid Munday, Carolyn Kenrick and Steve Starr engage
with the shifting colours and quiet transformations of autumn.
Through their distinct practices, each artist reflects on the interplay
between natural and urban environments, drawing inspiration from
the textures, rhythms, and fleeting moments that define the
season.
Together, they explore the fundamental beauty of the world around
them — from intimate observations of nature to broader
impressions of place — creating a collective dialogue that invites
viewers to slow down, look closely, and reconnect with their
surroundings.
